I encourage more women to try technical professions
In 2024, Arezo Golchin supervised a new workflow for laboratory testing and method verification at Wellspect’s Research & Development (R&D) function. With her long experience from different functions at Wellspect, Arezo volunteered to coordinate a team that handles requests from the whole R&D department and create a manageable system for more efficient handling of laboratory testing.
“With this new set up, we get an overall picture of incoming requests and can prioritize them much better – plus our collaboration brings a very positive team dynamic to the group. It reduces the stress to know that you’re not alone – you share the tasks and responsibilities. And it’s easier for managers to identify the need for more resources. There is no risk something is overlooked or forgotten.”
Arezo underlines how important it to learn, develop and get feedback – and not be afraid to take on new challenges. “For me personally it has been a very rewarding journey, and I can only encourage more women to try technical professions,” she concludes.
