Elif Meraci works as Safety and Health Specialist at Wellspect’s production site in Kazan, Turkey. She has nearly 15 years’ experience in EHS (Environment, health and safety) and a background in chemical engineering.
Within the frame of her role, Elif has seen firsthand how improvements in health and safety have created a safer and more inspiring workplace for herself and her colleagues. One in which not a single reportable accident was registered over the past 550 days!
She pursues the “Safety First” mindset at Wellspect, which is a fundamental part of the company culture. Whether it be two-minutes group gymnastic breaks for all workers, improved chemical management programs, emergency drills or noise reduction initiatives, it all adds up.
