People are the cornerstone of efficient manufacturing
Jerry Keskinen, Production Area Manager, oversees two large production areas and manages a team of 23 people. The wide age span in his team and the ten languages spoken attest to the diversity of the place.

The site has strict hygiene requirements. The rare visitor is requested to put on protective equipment. Jerry explains: "Visualizing what we do for the users of our products is key – it helps us understand the importance of regulations and clean room instructions.”
"We have a high degree of automation and digitalization of our processes. Robots help us out with assembling and handling. Our state-of-the-art machines identify problem areas while software helps us analyze data. “As Wellspect wants to be a frontrunner, we have numerous projects ongoing to explore more sustainable production processes," Jerry concludes.
