From university chairman straight to R&D specialist
"I was particularly interested in the chemistry of the body and got hooked on medical technology and materials, for instance tissue engineering," says Julia Gutman, R&D Engineer, and continues: “I was happy to start at Wellspect straight after my graduation, working with everything from life cycle analysis of products to test runs in production, laboratory testing and data analysis as well as design control. And I really enjoy our cross-functional collaboration. Of course, in product development there are challenges all the time; like unexpected results in combination with time pressure. But I also think that challenges are part of my job. With dedicated colleagues always by my side and a strong team spirit, challenges never feel impossible to solve – which makes my job interesting.”
