Continuous improvement – a personal journey

“It’s about being curious and challenging yourself”, Martin Nyman begins and continues: “I started as a lab engineer within R&D, then became Product Developer, moving on to Technical Product Manager and Senior R&D Engineer. In my present role as a Project Manager, I am responsible for different development projects.

Martin tells us how challenging it was to start as a young engineer within a new field, with new colleagues and yet receiving a lot of freedom. “I was given a huge confidence," Martin recalls, "but have since pushed myself to take on new responsibilities in different positions, which has kept me motivated.

He also mentions how proud he is about Wellspect’s sustainability work, that the whole company has committed to becoming climate neutral by 2045, guided by the Science Based Targets initiative as well as evidence-based reporting. “To any young graduate I can only recommend joining Wellspect – it is rewarding in more senses than one!” Martin concludes.
